The first weekend of October Sam & Matt finally got to have their dream wedding at Cider Mill Barns. This little Birmingham wedding photographer was over the moon for them! They had such a beautiful day with their nearest and dearest, it truly was an honour to capture!

The sun was beaming for Sam and Matt’s wedding day at Cider Mill Barns! Straight after the ceremony the guests were lined up for this Birmingham wedding photographers favourite photo, CONFETTI! I bloody love confetti photos! This photograph always captures the fun and joy of your wedding! Sam and Matt had beautiful dried petal confetti. Time for a Butty tip… You can never have too much confetti! I recommend ordering 5-10g per guest, this will mean you get the most epic confetti!

Sam and Matt were due to get married last year, but like. so many, a pandemic changed their plans. This is one wedding I am so glad moved though, because it meant I got to meet this little cutie! This Birmingham wedding photographer also loves shooting cute little babies like Sam & Matt’s little girl! She was so cute! Not gonna lie, she stole the show a few times during the day!

October weddings have some of the best light! Autumnal golden light is so beautiful and definitely something you should look out for on your wedding day. This Birmingham wedding photographer always has one eye on the sky during your wedding day. This moment was just before Sam and Matt’s speeches. Myself and the videographer brought them to a gorgeous little spot for 10 minutes to capture some beautiful portraits!
The priceless expressions during your wedding speeches!
Wedding speeches are always one of the best times to be capturing the many expressions of your guests. Speeches always have rhythm of being funny, being a bit awww and then throwing in a little shock factor. As you can imagine, some stories capture all these expressions in one go! Matt’s best men definitely delivered on making people laugh, making people go awwww and a little bit of cringe faces at their drunken tales.

Cider Mill Barns has one of the best looking wedding venue bars I have seen! Who doesn’t love a shelf of house plants?!? I knew this bar would make an awesome backdrop for some relaxed photos of Sam and Matt with their bridal party and groomsmen. Your group shots don’t always have to be outside, if their gorgeous spots in your venue then use them! You can see from the photos, these squads know how to have a giggle!

As you all know by now, I love hitting the dancefloor and more importantly, capture you having the best time busting out some drunken moves! Sam and Matt’s friends didn’t disappoint as they danced the night away. This Birmingham wedding photographer did have a right giggle at the dance floor filling up as Cotton Eye Joe played but hey, what ever gets you moving!
