Rink real flower bouquet for Shoreditch wedding

Blooms for Shoreditch wedding

When creating this Shoreditch wedding shoot, I knew I wanted one big pop of colour and that was pink! Pink doesn't have to be a girly colour, it’s more about it being fun! You can use pink in so many ways in your wedding day. It can be cute, it can be bold and it’s definitely fun!

We used a bright pink heeled boot for the bridal look and I know I wanted the flowers to compliment this. Kayleigh at Blossoms by Kayleigh created the perfect bouquet for the shoot. We wanted texture and playfulness in the bouquet and boy did Kayleigh created the most perfect flowers for the shoot.

I absolutely adore real flowers. I love growing them, I love having them in my home and I love photographing them on your wedding day. Real flowers can finish your outfit, they can bring life to your table decor and bring the WOW factor. Don’t see wedding flowers as they’re there for one day, you can do so much with your flowers after your wedding day. They will last forever through your wedding photos and you can dry them and cherish them for years to come!

Be bold and fun with your wedding flowers! Even if it’s a bouquet for your Shoreditch wedding, or a full on flower extravaganza! Real flowers make your wedding!

Pink wedding stationery for Shoreditch wedding

Start your Shoreditch wedding the right way!

When Sarah at Peache Wolf said she’d love to be part of this Shoreditch wedding shoot, I totally did a little excited dance. Sarah’s stationery is amazing… beyond amazing! Sarah works so hard with you to create the perfect stationery set.

For this Shoreditch wedding shoot, we decided to keep with the pink fun vibe for the stationery. We used really fun pink confetti during the shoot and knew it would look cool on a flat lay of the stationery.

Your wedding stationery is the first thing your guests see about your wedding day. It is the window into your wedding and your guests should be getting an excited little teaser into your wedding day. So don’t buy a generic set from a card shop, invest. Your wedding stationery isn’t just pieces of information for your guest. This is a tangible piece of your wedding day that you can keep and show to future family.

Be bold on your Shoreditch wedding!

Not everyone wants a long flowing wedding gown on their big day. These are gorgeous, but it’s not for everyone. I wanted to show a different look you could go for, a mini wedding dress. How perfect does it look?

I knew straight away I wanted to work with Alison from Alyce Jayne Bridal. Her pieces are out of this world and I have worked with her a few times now. The attention to detail and designs are always unique and fun! I just love Alison’s designs!

We had a couple of options for this Shoreditch wedding shoot and I knew this piece was the perfect fit for the shoot! Paired with the bouquet and boots, it looked perfect! I think this is such a great city bride look for someone who is wanting to be modern and playful with their outfit.

Couple having fun for confetti in Shoreditch wedding

it’s confetti time at your Shoreditch wedding

A confetti photo in the city is one of my favourite photos! I absolutely love a confetti photo, i’d go to say it’s one of my fave photos to take on your wedding day! People choosing to have a Shoreditch wedding, don’t think you can’t have confetti! Of course you can!

When it comes to confetti, everyone should be making sure it biodegradable! Just because it’s your wedding day doesn’t mean you can poop on the planet, nope, be ethical folks! Tissue paper or dried petals are the most eco friendly choices. I love tissue paper confetti. It’s colourful and a bold and gives such a bog impact on your photos!

Even if you’re planning a city elopement in Shoreditch, you can still create epic confetti photos! Shoreditch has awesome backdrops for you to use. When you have bright pink confetti, you can’t beat a black wall!

The extra touches for your Shoreditch wedding

Sarah at Photo Press UK got in touch about providing a wedding newspaper! I was so excited at the idea of this and was thrilled to have her on board!

This Shoreditch wedding was all about fun and inspiration to couples planning a city wedding. This wedding newspaper is a great idea to keep your guests informed of what’s happening through out your wedding day and to have a bit of fun. The wedding newspaper is fun and a great piece of your wedding for your guests to take away and keep, a lot more meaningful than a bag of sugared almonds!

Couple standing with doughnut in Shoreditch wedding

I’m doughnuts about your Shoreditch wedding

Oh no she didn’t! Yes… yes I just did a terrible donut pun! Doughnut hate me! haha

Having a city wedding gives you so much more opportunity to include things you like to do as a couple. If you’ve chosen to get married in a city you love, you can incorporate little stops to your fave bar or cafe. Doing this really captures your story and I find this bloody cute!

You cannot be in Shoreditch and not get a doughnut! I chose to take my couple to Doughnut Time! You can see why, they had an awesome pink doughnut that fit the Shoreditch wedding shoot perfectly!

You can be silly and do stuff like this on your wedding. If you both love doughnuts, cake, coffee, beer, shots… whatever, incorporate it in your wedding and have some fun!

I hope this fun Shoreditch wedding shoot has got you excited and inspired for your wedding!
