The Archer Wedding
The Archer wedding was a sentimental wedding for me to have the pleasure of photographing.
Natalie and I grew up two doors away from each other, I remember us getting in trouble the once for jumping on her bed till it nearly broke! So when she asked me to photograph her wedding straight away I said yes.
I turned up to Natalie's home and greeted with a warm welcome from her dad. Natalie was on her way back from her relaxing beauty preparations. She walked through the door, slightly worried about timings (every bride does) but still glowing with a beaming smile. Photographing Natalie and her bridesmaids getting ready was just like a catch up with old friends, which it kind of was!
After the ceremony it was raining so we decided to quickly do the group shots in the ceremony venue. In group shots it's always best to keep everyone happy and smiling, I don't think this would have happened dragging them out to stand in the rain.
For Natalie & Luke's photos, I gave them some umbrella's and took them into a lovely secluded courtyard area. The rain didn't stop them looking beautiful, you could see how much love they had for each other in every shot!
Natalie worked so hard in personalising her reception venue and you could see how much love went into every little detail. Everyone was so friendly and happy, I love walking around capturing all those natural moments between everyone and this wedding was full of it. I knew there were going to be loads of images for Natalie and Luke to cherish.
When the Archer gallery was ready, I was so excited to share it with Natalie and Luke. Within minutes I had a text from Natalie....
"Have just sat and cried. Love them all Steph. You captured some beautiful and magical moments on our special day. Cannot thank you enough"
Reading such kind words from the Bride and Groom always brings a smile to my face.
So here are some images from The Archer's special day!
