This is a special one for this little Birmingham wedding photographer! Not only is it the last wedding of 2021 (feels so mad saying that) but this is the wedding of an old school friend! I have known Steven since I was around 5 years old! Seeing him marry Jo made me feel like a proud mom!

How sweet is this?! You can see both their excitement to see each other and this Birmingham wedding photographer is living for it! Due to December light, we decided to do a first look and some couple portraits before Jo and Steven actually got married. This is not a traditional flow but hey, i’m not a traditional kinda gal! I want to make sure my couples get epic photos, so if this means working around the daylight and you guys are up for it, then this is what we do!

I don’t think I have seen a bride walk down the aisle as quickly as Jo did! Luckily this little Birmingham wedding photographer had a fast shutter speed on to capture her! You could see both of them were excited and ready to be married! I do love a short and sweet wedding ceremony!

WHEN IT’S CONFETTI TIME!!!

Yep I love confetti! I wish I could have confetti thrown over me every time I walk out the house! It’s so fun and definitely what this Birmingham wedding photographer loves to capture! I love seeing how enthusiastic your guest get too, especially parents when it looks like they’re getting their own back (See Steven’s dad on the right haha)
