A gorgeous sunny wedding at The Frogmill, Cheltenham

Friday was truly a magical day for Carter & Chess (Adam & Fran) at The Frogmill, Cheltenham.

We had the most gorgeous summer weather it felt like you were at a vineyard in the south of France! One of the reasons Chess & Carter chose the venue was for the outdoor terrace where the drinks reception and confetti took place.

Chess arrived at the venue with her bridal party to do her finishing touches. The Frogmill have beautiful little cottages on site for the wedding couple to get ready and stay in. It was the perfect space for the girls to get ready. Chess looked absolutely stunning in her Jenny Yoo wedding dress. It was the perfect sleek design, with a touch go glam from the sparkly sequins. Finished off with a beautiful head band from Rose Red Rose White

Chess and Carter had a short and sweet ceremony in The Mill Room. The flower girls had fun throwing confetti down the aisle… then picking it back up to throw it all over again. With assistance of parents on the sidelines, the children were cleared for the rest of the bridal party to arrive and finally Chess, with her proud parents on arm. The I Do’s were full of smiles, laughter and tears of joy, just how it should be!

The terrace at The Frogmill is not only the perfect for your drinks reception, it makes a pretty awesome confetti space too! Chess & Carter’s pink and white tissue paper confetti was pure perfection! We all know how much I love colourful confetti… especially when it’s pink! They also took my advice when I tell my couple you can never have too much confetti! The clouds of joyous colour covered us all!

The Frogmill has some gorgeous spots perfect for these sunny summer days. During the early afternoon, the sun is at its highest, which is a nightmare for photographs. You and your guests will be squinting, sweating in the sun’s heat, then the harsh light and shadows… nope, not flattering at all! This is why photographers are always on the look out for shade… and I found some beauts!

The wisteria corner from one on the terrace spaces was like a Spanish dream! And how gorgeous are Chess’ flowers from The Wild Bunch Collective ?!

Chess & Carter had such a fun table decor! They captured their personalities perfectly with each table named after an epic song! The little animal statues with party hats and balloons made my heart happy! The signage was a 70’s dream! A tattoo station of their faces was just hilarious! the Colin and Connie the caterpillar cakes! If this doesn’t scream an epic, fun wedding to you, then you’re mad!

Chess, her mom and one of her sisters gave the most heart warming speeches before everyone tucked into their delicious three course meal (Thank you Chess & Carter & The Frogmill it was amazing). After the meal it was time for Carter’s best men to finish off the speeches. They did such a great job sharing fun stories through out their friendship but what really got me was how much love they have for their friend!

Your squad photos… Oh how I love these! Both Chess & Carter’s friends are total party people! So of course, I had to reflect this in their group photos! Does anything say “PARTY” more than a spraying bubbly shot! Nope! Everyone rocked these photos and brought their A Game!

A surprise little treat for all Chess & Carters guests. Chess’s sister has such a beautiful voice, that was perfect on a sunny evening on the terrace at The Frogmill. It gave me holiday vibes, you can imagine sitting with a cocktail listening to live music. Ok get me on a plane!

Hello golden hour portraits! Something Chess really wanted and we were lucky to find a perfect field to wander in and capture this gorgeous light. The Frogmill gives you so much opportunity to create beautiful, fun and creative portraits! How bloody cool do Chess & Carter look?!

And then it was time to party the night away at The Frogmill. First Chess & Carter had their cake cutting. decapitating Colin & Connie the caterpillars! Cute… but a little sinister too! Chess’s dad was DJ for the evening and did a cracking job creating the perfect playlist for the couple and all the guests to party the night away too.

Chess & Carter, in true Butty style, did their wedding their way! I am so honoured to have been the one to capture such awesome memories for this gorgeous couple!
